All India Football Federation announces Reliance's Performax Activewear as official Indian football team kit sponsor

Reliance Retail’s performance sportswear brand Performax has joined force with the All India Football Federation. The brand has been named as the Indian Football Team’s official kit and merchandise sponsor through a multi-year partnership.

“We are very happy to announce our association with AIFF,” said Reliance Retail- Fashion and Lifestyle’s president and CEO Akhilesh Prasad in a press release on September 7. “Football has great potential in India and we will see the Indian football team gain prominence in years to come. This partnership is in line with our aspiration to make sports accessible in India through Performax.”

The partnership gives Performax the exclusive rights to manufacture kits across all formats of the game. It also makes the brand the sole supplier for all match, travel, and training wear for the AIFF which includes its men’s, women's, and youth teams.

“We welcome our new kit partner, Performax, to the Indian Football family,” said the AIFF’s secretary general Shaji Prabhakaran. “I am sure the players and the teams will like the new kit and will be inspired to put their best on the pitch. I wish this new partnership between the AIFF and Performax all success.”

The Indian Football Team first debuted its new kit, which features the Performax logo, at the 49th King’s Cup 2023. The event runs from September 6 to 10 in Thailand.

“This association is among a few in a series of initiatives we plan to undertake towards establishing Performax as the preferred activewear brand for our customers,” said Performax and Trends Footwear’s CEO Nitesh Kumar.
