Arroya Studio teams up with Mohan Spintex to amplify range and reach

New York and Andhra Pradesh, India – Mohan Spintex, the vertically integrated bedding manufacturer, has partnered with Arroya Studio exclusively to represent and develop its sheeting business for the U.S. market and to expand into the decorative business as well.

“We are one of the largest integrated mills in India, but we have not been promoting ourselves in the way that we should,” said Nandha Kumar, president of the HomeTex division at Mohan Spintex India Limited. “Arroya will help us understand the pulse of the American consumer.”

The company continues to expand its sustainable production and is now zero-coal. In addition, its opera-tion has the largest solar roofing system in a single location within India and uses harvested rainwater for 96% of its water consumption.

“People talk about sustainability. This company lives and breathes it. Plus, they make great products,” said Steve McGee, CEO and president of Arroya Studio.

Mohan Spintex is also expanding its operation and plans to double its weaving and processing capacities over the coming three years.

Arroya is expanding, too. Since last New York Home Fashions Market week in September, Arroya has moved into a larger showroom space to highlight its own home collections as well as those it develops with its partners and brands.

“We have traveled the globe to create an edited and thoughtful assortment of home textiles that range in aesthetics, solutions and values,” said Jean Lindsley, chief brand officer.
