Charlotte, N.C. – Delilah Home, the brand specializing in organic and sustainable home textiles, has a couple good reasons to crow.
The direct to consumer bedding and bath textiles company was recognized for its 100% organic cotton and Vegan.org-certified in rankings by Prevention Magazine and Good Housekeeping.
“This set from Delilah Home proves that you can find high-quality organic sheets without breaking the bank. For less than $200, this brand is GOTS certified and offers all the standard sizes you may need, as well as a few basic color choices. And if you’re the kind of sleeper who likes to skip the top sheet, this pick also offers the option to purchase the fitted sheet and pillowcases separately,” Prevention Magazine’s “Top 10 Organic Cotton Sheets of 2023” review stated.
The magazine’s selections were made by Mona Gohara, M.D., associate clinical professor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine and a member of the Prevention Medical Review Board, along with Joshua Zeichner, M.D., director of cosmetic and clinical research and associate professor of dermatology at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
Testing notes from Good Housekeeping’s “The Very Best Sheets for Your Bed” review found that Delilah Home’s fabric outperformed other organic sheets in in GH’s series of tests.
“Though the sheets did have some shrinkage and creases after washing, the sateen fabric proved to be both soft and strong in lab and consumer evaluations,” the review stated.
Previous accolades for Delilah Home’s sheets include inclusion in Good Housekeeping’s 2021 Best Bedding and the Wall Street Journals “Worth the Splurge” for the brand’s 100% organic hemp bedsheets.
“We take tremendous pride in producing the best GOTS-certified organic products,” said Michael Twer CEO and founder of Delilah Home. “Not only are our products good for the planet, but they are also good for people, and good for business.”
Twer, who is the chairman for the Organic Trade Association Fiber Council, noted that the organic textile category has grown double digits in the last decade.
“It now represents more than $10 billion dollars, with organic home textiles accounting for more than $2 billion,” he added. “We see this trend continuing for the next decade with transparency, traceability, and accountability being the driving factors.”
