Situated in Bhiwandi, IndoWeave Textiles Pvt. Ltd., is a fabric manufacturer. They produce fabrics for home furnishing upholstery fabrics for indoor and outdoor use, suiting fabrics and r-PET fabrics for bags and accessories. Contributing their share in sustainable textiles and in particular to circularity, they are focusing on manufacturing GRS certified r-PET fabrics. With over ten years of experience in manufacturing and marketing of fabrics for brands and export houses, they have created a wide range of products in varied designs across a number of styles.
Delve into an extract from an interview with Ms. Divya Rishi, Director, IndoWeave Textiles Pvt. Ltd., taken by the GTS Newsdesk during the Mumbai edition of Textile Fairs India, organised on 9, 10, 11 May 2024.
“We are primarily into 3 segments - fabrics for home furnishings, men's suitings and bags and accessories. We make fabrics that are GRS certified and our main focus is on PET recycled polyester. Additionally, we are also making multi blends with linen, viscose, polyester and linen-look fabrics”, says Ms. Divya Rishi as she introduces the company.
“We are very excited to introduce our new ‘Eco Armour Collection’ at this fair which is our latest innovation in outdoor fabrics that are weather resistant. Not only are they technical fabrics but they are also environmentally sound fabrics being produced from PET recycled polyester and they are technically at par with regularly used acrylic fabrics for outdoor use. The Eco Armour collection has not only the ability to withstand the rigours of the outdoors, these fabrics enhance the overall outdoor experience, ensuring both comfort and performance in various applications. With stain and water-resistant properties, they make a great pick for indoors as well. ” adds Ms. Divya as she talks about their latest innovation.
It is quite impressive to know that the company contributed to recycling approximately 28 PET bottles to make one metre of Eco Amour high performance fabric.
