Swatchbook teams up with Taiwan Textile Federation

CALIFORNIA – Material digitisation and sourcing platform Swatchbook has teamed up with the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) in a bid to attract new users in the East Asian nation.  

Under the terms of the agreement, TTF will provide funding for a first year of new subscribers, as it incentivises its network of suppliers in Taiwan to trial the online service. 

Swatchbook is a digitised library of fabrics which enables stakeholders to browse the availability of materials across the sector. 

The US innovator says its mission statement is “revolutionising the exploration, visualisation and sharing of materials.” 

Its platform will afford Taiwan’s suppliers the chance to upload their materials along with other metadata and pricing details for brands to further explore whilst visualising materials and sharing them with peers.

TTF sees potential for Swatchbook to optimise the manner in which its suppliers promote their product and engage with the industry at large.

Jason Eric Brown, Swatchbook’s chief business development officer, commented: “TTF plays an instrumental role in helping Taiwan's textile industry to maintain its position as a leader in the global textile market. And the partnership with Swatchbook will support this mission by helping textile companies in Taiwan to modernise their operations and improve their efficiency.”
