Premium sock brand The Sock Street has entered the Indian quick commerce market in partnership with dedicated platform Blinkit. The tie up sees The Sock Street offer its men's and women's socks for deliveries in just minutes to shoppers in select metro locations.
"Premium quality socks at your door in the blink of an eye," announced The Sock Street on Facebook. "The Sock Street is live on Blinkit and now an outfit change is just a tap away!"
With its new exclusive partnership, The Sock Street aims to transform customer purchase behaviour, Apparel Resources reported. The brand's business head Saurabh Srivastava shared his excitement about the collaboration and stated that he aims to harness the tie up to help The Sock Street to bring its products to more customers while disseminating its message that socks are an important expression of personal style.
Quick commerce platform Blinkit has ben focusing on expanding its fashion and beauty brand offering in recent months to tap into growing demand for these products in the quick commerce sector, which was once focused on groceries and essential items. The business has announced partnerships with brands including Boat, Laneige, Innisfree, and Etude among others in recent months.
The Sock Street retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store and is based in Gurugram, according to its website. Entrepreneur Udit Mayor launched the business in September 2023 following seven months of research and development.
