Trident Group, a global leader in home textiles and paper, has been recognized for its design excellence with two top honours at the prestigious India’s Best Design Awards (IBDA) 2025.
The company’s in-house design studio was named “Best In-house Studio”, reaffirming its position as an innovation-driven creative powerhouse. In addition, Trident received the coveted “Greatest of All Time (GOAT) – The Design Award”, a distinction reserved for repeat winners of the Best Design Studio title, celebrating their consistent innovation and long-term impact on the Indian design ecosystem.
This recognition comes on the back of Trident’s multiple wins in 2021, 2022, 2023, and now 2025, cementing its legacy as one of the most influential design-led companies in the country. The awards were presented during the 10th edition of the Design India Show, which brought together leading voices from across the design fraternity.
Trident’s design studio, comprising over 50 designers from top institutions such as NID and NIFT, integrates sustainability, storytelling, and trend research to create consumer-loved products. Its portfolio spans premium jacquard towels, luxury bed linen, eco-friendly packaging, and campaign design, along with expertise in forecasting, surface pattern development, and visual storytelling.
Among its celebrated projects are the Vasant Collection, inspired by Indian spring festivals; the Bharat Tex initiative; and the Prakriti Collection, which highlighted sustainability and nature-driven design.
As the world’s largest manufacturer of terry towels, Trident continues to set global benchmarks across textiles, paper, chemicals, and energy. These awards further underscore the company’s commitment to elevating everyday living through design, craftsmanship, and innovation.
