LYCRA® XTRA FINE technology provides the fine dtex LYCRA® fibers that make possible the production of lightweight knit and woven fabrics for intimate apparel and other end-uses. These fabrics exhibit refinement and elegance, and provide exquisite “barely there” comfort.

Qualifying knit fabrics are typically knit on fine-gauge tricot machines or circular knitting machines with a needle density from 40 through 60 gg. Woven fabrics may be elastified with either fine dtex LYCRA® elastane fiber, or with 55 dtex or lower LYCRA® T400® fiber.
