What is the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®?
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a worldwide, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as any accessory materials used.
The test for harmful substances includes:
• Substances which are prohibited and regulated by law
• Chemicals that are known to be harmful to health but which are not regulated by law
• Substances that are believed to be harmful to health.
What do you get?
• A detailed report and an annual certificate as proof of the successful testing of your textile products for harmful substances.
• A label with which you can communicate the safety of your product to your customers and business partners and thus set yourself apart from the competition.
• The chance to save costs with the OEKO-TEX® modular system. Certificates for raw materials can be recognised at the subsequent production levels without necessarily requiring a repeat laboratory test.
• The chance to present your certified product range and your company in detail in the OEKO-TEX®
How is the STANDARD 100 integrated in the OEKO-TEX® system?
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is used for B2B communication within the value creation chain as well as B2C communication. Together with STeP by OEKO-TEX® certification for environmentally friendly and socially responsible production facilities, STANDARD 100 forms the basis for granting the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label
